We believe travel planning should feel clear, transparent, and stress-free from the beginning. These policies outline how we manage bookings, privacy, and customer information at Great Kiwi Trips.
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 2026
Welcome to Great Kiwi Trips.
These Terms & Conditions are designed to provide clarity around how we work, how bookings are managed, and what you can expect when travelling with us. By using our website, submitting an enquiry, or confirming a booking, you acknowledge and agree to the Terms outlined below.
Throughout these Terms & Conditions, references to “we”, “us”, “our”, and “Great Kiwi Trips” refer to Time 2 Go Limited, trading as Great Kiwi Trips. References to “you” and “your” refer to the traveller, customer, or person making a booking with us.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all journeys, travel arrangements, curated experiences, and bookings arranged by Great Kiwi Trips, including experiences offered under the “sundays.” brand.
1. Who We Are
Great Kiwi Trips is a New Zealand-based travel company specialising in curated New Zealand travel experiences.
Time 2 Go Limited acts as a travel arranger and booking agent for a range of independent airlines, accommodation providers, transport companies, activity operators, guides, and tourism suppliers throughout New Zealand and internationally.
When you book travel services through us, you are also entering into agreements with the relevant travel suppliers responsible for delivering those services.
2. Quotes & Availability
All quotes are subject to availability at the time of booking.
Pricing, accommodation availability, transport schedules, and supplier rates may change without notice until your booking has been confirmed and payment received.
Quotes provided by Great Kiwi Trips are estimates only and do not constitute a confirmed reservation unless specifically stated in writing. Where applicable, quotations will also outline deposit requirements, payment schedules, and any known supplier-specific cancellation conditions.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or inaccuracies at any time before confirmation.
3. Bookings & Payments
A booking is considered confirmed once:
-
we have received your acceptance of the itinerary or booking proposal; and
-
the required payment has been received and processed.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
-
all prices are shown in New Zealand Dollars (NZD);
-
full payment may be required at the time of booking for selected suppliers or promotional rates;
-
a deposit, typically around 25% of the total booking value, may be required to secure travel arrangements, followed by a final balance payment before departure.
The specific deposit amount, balance due date, payment schedule, and any supplier-specific payment requirements will be clearly outlined in your quotation and booking confirmation before any booking is confirmed.
Some travel arrangements may include non-refundable deposits or supplier-imposed payment conditions. Where applicable, these will be disclosed prior to confirmation.
Failure to make payment by the specified due date may result in cancellation of your booking by the supplier or by us.
For bank transfer payments, payment must typically be received within 72 hours unless otherwise stated.
4. Prices & Inclusions
Unless stated otherwise, pricing generally includes only the services specifically listed within your itinerary or booking confirmation.
Items commonly not included are:
-
international flights;
-
meals and beverages not specified;
-
travel insurance;
-
visas and passport costs;
-
personal expenses;
-
laundry;
-
gratuities;
-
optional activities;
-
excess baggage charges;
-
local taxes or government charges introduced after booking.
Prices are based on the information, exchange rates, supplier costs, and operating conditions available at the time of quoting.
5. Changes & Amendments
If you request changes to a confirmed booking, we will do our best to assist.
However:
-
amendments are subject to supplier approval and availability;
-
additional supplier fees may apply;
-
itinerary changes may result in revised pricing.
An administration fee may also apply for significant itinerary amendments.
Once travel has commenced, changes may be limited or unavailable depending on supplier conditions.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
If you cancel a confirmed booking, cancellation fees will apply.
The specific cancellation conditions applicable to your booking will be outlined in your quotation and booking confirmation documentation before any booking is confirmed.
Cancellation charges vary depending on the suppliers, accommodation providers, transport operators, activities, and services included within your itinerary.
Unless otherwise stated in your booking documentation:
-
some travel arrangements may include non-refundable deposits, prepaid services, special event bookings, promotional rates, or supplier-imposed cancellation conditions. These will be identified during the booking process where applicable.
-
cancellations are subject to a minimum administration fee of NZ$250 per person or NZ$500 per booking (whichever is greater);
-
supplier cancellation fees may apply in addition to our administration fee;
-
some supplier bookings, special offers, event-based travel, or promotional rates may be non-refundable.
The cancellation charges applicable to your booking will be advised before booking confirmation and may include supplier cancellation fees, non-refundable deposits, prepaid services, and administration costs.
No refunds are available for:
-
unused portions of itineraries;
-
voluntarily unused accommodation, transport, meals, tours, or activities;
-
cancellations made after travel has commenced.
Where refunds are approved, processing times can vary depending on supplier response times and banking systems. Refund processing may take up to 12 weeks.
Refund requests submitted more than 6 months after scheduled travel completion may not be accepted.
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking.
Your policy should include cover for:
-
