Great Kiwi Trips is a Surprise Travel Company that plans trips around New Zealand. All you have to do is fill out a quick survey and tell us your budget. We'll take care of your travel + accommodation arrangements based on your travel personality - all while keeping your destination a surprise.

Relax - we've got this
One of the best reasons to sign-up for a Surprise getaway is that you'll be leaving the planning to us. Our Travel Designers will book every aspect of your trip, based on your travel personality, within your selected trip budget. That means that after signing up for a trip and completing your Pre-Trip Survey, you can sit back and relax - we will be busy planning your awesome getaway full of amazing surprises!

Counting down...
A week before departure, you'll receive an email that contains: ​

Recommended items to pack (e.g. make sure you bring your togs and tramping boots)

Any luggage size restrictions

Where to go and when (e.g. Wellington Airport, Friday at 10:30AM!)

Details of on-trip support via phone, text message, email and WhatsApp during your Surprise Trip

The Big Reveal
On the day, go to the designated location at the given time and send us a 'selfie' to reveal the surprise! (If you're camera shy we do accept other photos that give us a clue you're at the location you need to be too).

The photo you send will unlock a digital itinerary where you'll receive your own unique link to your trip details, and a print-friendly document you can download in case youa
Since you don't have time to do research on your destination, we do it for you! At your fingertips you'll have recommendations for everything from cafés to nightlife to rainy day options.
We promise you won't be bored wherever you go!
